REGULATIONS FOR PROVIDING SERVICES ELECTRONICALLY

§1. General Provisions

  1. The service is dedicated to organizing paid online chess tournaments for amateur players.
  2. Tournaments take place on the external platform Lichess.org, which the ChessTour.eu service integrates with technically.

 

§2. Participation Rules

  1. Anyone with an active and reputable account on Lichess.org can be a participant.
  2. The condition for participating in the tournament is purchasing an "Entry Ticket" through the ChessTour.eu service.
  3. The entry fee is 2.5, 5, or 10 euros, depending on the tournament.

 

§3. Payments and Service Execution

  1. Payments are processed through payment gateways integrated with the chesstour.eu site.
  2. After making a payment, the client receives a unique link or access code to the tournament on the Lichess platform.
  3. The link is automatically sent to the email address and is available in the player's profile panel after purchase.
  4. Due to the digital nature of the service (delivery of digital content not stored on a physical medium), the right to withdraw from the contract expires once the link to the tournament is provided.

 

§4. Prizes and Finances

  1. The prize pool in each tournament amounts to 175, 300, or 700 euros, depending on the entry fee, unless the organizer changes it due to the number of participants.
  2. The rules for distributing prizes among winners are announced before the start of each tournament.

 

§5. Security and Anti-Cheat

  1. The organizer strictly relies on the fraud detection system of the Lichess.org platform.
  2. A player who is banned by Lichess for cheating (using chess engines) is automatically disqualified from the RazTour tournament without the right to a refund.
  3. The organizer does not conduct their own analysis of games and does not install chess engines on their own server.

 

§6. Technical Responsibility

  1. The organizer is not responsible for interruptions in the operation of the Lichess.org platform.
  2. In the event of a server failure at ChessTour.eu preventing the tournament from starting, the entry fee will be refunded or transferred to the next date.
